Your journey starts in Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant coastal metropolis. Upon your arrival, your Moorish Odyssey guide will welcome you and take you to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely day discovering the city’s attractions, featuring the renowned Hassan II Mosque, among the largest mosques globally. Savor a welcoming dinner and get ready for the adventure that lies ahead.
After having breakfast, set off for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore its historical sites, including the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas. Proceed with your adventure to the delightful blue city of Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. Wander along its delightful blue-painted streets and immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance of this distinctive town.
Depart from Chefchaouen and journey to the historic Roman ruins of Volubilis, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the beautifully intact mosaics and arches, then proceed to Meknes, often referred to as the “Versailles of Morocco.” Explore the Bab Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. Reach Fes in the evening, where you’ll stay overnight.
After breakfast, you will start our guided exploration of the Fes medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. You will wander through the tight alleys adorned with fresh produce, heaps of spices, finely crafted Berber rugs, and numerous other artistic items from Morocco. A trip to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and the potters are merely some of the sights we will enjoy. For lunch, you will eat at a traditional restaurant located in the center of the medina. Following lunch, you will finish the tour and head back to your hotel for the evening.
After an early breakfast, you will start your drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The majority of the day will be devoted to traversing the stunning forests, rugged cliffs, and Berber settlements as you navigate the Atlas Mountains and start your descent into the Sahara Desert.
Rise early to experience a stunning sunrise above the dunes prior to heading back to Merzouga. Leave for Ouarzazate, traversing the stunning Todra Gorges, a haven for climbers and nature enthusiasts. Proceed through the breathtaking Draa Valley, famous for its date palms and classic kasbahs. Reach Ouarzazate, dubbed the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and stay overnight.
After an early breakfast you set off to Marrakech via Ouarzazate. You will visit one of the jewels of Morocco – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. In typical Moroccan fashion, the true treasures must be searched out and discovered… usually off the beaten path. After lunch, you will head over the mountains to Marrakech.
After breakfast, you will start a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the Palace of the Bahia, the Saadian Tombs, and many other hidden treasures.
Transfer to the airport As we say in Morocco, you are always welcome back to your second home.
