Begin your journey in Casablanca, admiring the magnificence of the Hassan II Mosque before proceeding to Rabat, the refined capital of Morocco. Discover the Udayas Kasbah, wander in the Andalusian Gardens, and tour the historic Hassan Tower. Relax in a charming riad and enjoy a welcoming dinner featuring Moroccan treats.
After having breakfast, you will depart by van to Fes. During the journey, you will stop in Rabat, the capital and home of the King, for lunch and an opportunity to appreciate the stunning coastal city. Following lunch, you will proceed to Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco. You have the option to include a visit to the historic Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes.
After breakfast, you will start our guided exploration of the Fes medina, one of the largest walled cities in the world. You will wander through the tight alleys adorned with fresh produce, heaps of spices, finely crafted Berber rugs, and numerous other artistic items from Morocco. A trip to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and the potters are merely some of the sights we will enjoy. For lunch, you will eat at a traditional restaurant located in the center of the medina. Following lunch, you will finish the tour and head back to your hotel for the evening.
After an early breakfast, you will start your drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. The majority of the day will be devoted to traversing the stunning forests, rugged cliffs, and Berber settlements as you navigate the Atlas Mountains and start your descent into the Sahara Desert.
Wake to a Sahara sunrise before driving to Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops. Continue through the dramatic Todra Gorge, where 300-meter cliffs tower above a turquoise river. Wind through palm-filled valleys to Skoura, a lush oasis dotted with ancient kasbahs. Stay in a restored mudbrick guesthouse.
Journey through the Valley of Roses to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and backdrop for films like Gladiator. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech by evening. Dive into the magic of Jemaa el-Fnaa Square at night.
Discover Marrakech’s treasures: the opulent Bahia Palace, the mystical Saadian Tombs, and the cobalt-blue Majorelle Garden. Bargain in bustling souks for spices and handicrafts, then unwind with a farewell dinner at a chic rooftop riad.
